Intro: You’ll tour Ho Chi Minh city’s major sights. Under the French domination, Ho Chi Minh City (locally called Saigon) was called the “Pearl of the Far East”. Today Saigon is a bustling major metropolis that celebrates contemporary life against a backdrop of colonial architecture and sets a dynamic pace for the whole country. The main site of the tour is Cu Chi Tunnel, an ingenious underground network dug by Vietnamese guerrillas with rudimental tools during Vietnam War (1940s). The tunnels, more than 200 kilometres long contain storage rooms, kitchens, hospitals, sleeping quarters and even schools.
DAY 1: ARRIVE IN SAIGON (D)
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (also called Saigon) in the afternoon. Meet your guide at Tan Son Nhat Airport and transferred to your hotel. Your dinner is served on a boat cruise along Saigon River so you have a good chance to admire night beauty of Saigon. Stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 2: SAIGON – CU CHI – SAIGON (B/L/D)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. In the morning city tour including some French architecture buildings such as the Former Presidential Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office. Lunch. Travel to Cu Chi tunnels and visit the underground tunnels. There are more than 200km of tunnels that were built by the Vietnamese guerrillas during the Vietnam War. Back to Saigon late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation.
DAY 3: DEPART SAIGON (B)
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for your departure flight
